Important recognition for theNaples International Airport (official site): L'Enac, in fact, he inserted it in the National Airport Plan among the 12 Strategic Airports of the Nation.
The + 92% increase in international routes, compared to 2013, has made it possible to significantly increase passenger traffic in recent years, so much so as to allow the Neapolitan airport to become one of the first Italian airports for passenger traffic.

Important restyling for Naples International Airport

This is also thanks to the extraordinary and significant expansion and restyling interventions carried out, in particular for the passenger terminal, thanks to the participation ofArch. Antonio De Martino, co-founder of Gnosis architecture, which through the use of a specific portfolio of materials, has provided its own stylistic code to the terminal environments.

Among them, the most important was HI-MACS®, thanks to which it was possible to fully express a clear architectural language. HI-MACS®, composed of minerals, natural pigments and acrylic, allows considerable advantages from a structural point of view: it, in fact, resists fire, scratches and impacts but above all facilitates cleaning and hygiene due to its surface without pores that prevents dirt, bacteria, mold and moisture from lurking.

HI-MACS®, is used both in architecture and in interior design, for the creation of facades and furnishings, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor contract environments because it is easy to maintain. This material, in fact, after years can be worked in such a way as to erase damage and deeper marks, as well as any stains and even graffiti, restoring its appearance and bringing it back in time, like the first day.

The designer, theArch. Antonio De Martino, he has declared: "There Gnosis represents a highly interdisciplinary design team that has never before intended to face the challenge of this project in the widest possible sense as in this case. The specific theme of the individual interventions to which we were called to intervene was always related and compared with the broader scale pertaining to the coordinated image of the entire airport. The main objective that we set ourselves was to identify a concept capable of building a precise identity of the airport terminal and the related Forecourt areas. A language that used in all redevelopment interventions was capable of imprinting a recognizable and unequivocal style. Acrylic stone has accompanied this long process of conception and construction, as it is capable of adapting to the most disparate uses and functions, following with great simplicity the design created ad hoc for this complex infrastructure.".
