The Ramp Agent is an airport figure who works on the tarmac to supervise all activities that take place prior to flight departure. He or she has a crucial role in that he or she is in close contact with the individual actors to coordinate activities ranging from loading and unloading baggage while respecting the balance of the aircraft, to passenger transit and maintenance activities.
È, inoltre, responsabile di coordinare le fasi di carico-scarico dei bagagli e di verificare il corretto bilanciamento dell'aeromobile nelle attività di manutenzione, affinché tutto sia in perfetto ordine e di gestire il transito dei passeggeri. Nello svolgimento di ogni mansione è richiesta una grande attenzione ai dettagli ed una solida comprensione delle norme di sicurezza aeroportuale.

TRAINING PROJECT
PREPARATORY PHASE
50 hours minimum self-study for the teaching material provided in the preparatory phase and during the lectures;
Introductory course of 14 video lessons on an e-learning platform on the Airport System with supporting handouts in digital format
Study of specific texts
English (or French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian) language study platform available H24 for 6 months. The learner will be provided with Activities & Quizzes: articles, videos, audio, grammar, how-to and various publications. Thanks to the platform's Artificial Intelligence, content is adapted to each learner's profile

12 hours Health and Safety: Legislative Decree 81/2008 General and Specific Risk Training (MEDIUM)
8 hours of platform-based Safety Management System (SMS) training
20 hours of lectures in live streaming mode on the platform, according to a pre-established schedule (with the possibility of reviewing lessons recorded on the platform)
Full immersion of 4 days in Milan, for a total of 28 hours of lectures from 24 to 27 March 2026

- Career Orientation Meeting
- Revision and optimisation of Curriculum Vitae with subsequent dissemination to companies in the sector nationwide.
At the end of the entire training course, Accademia del Lavoro will deal with job brokerage by constantly collecting job offers in the sector, which will be communicated to the students.
