How do you manage to have the employee involvement? The demand is not only legitimate but also essential, especially in light of the fact that the market has become increasingly competitive and that flexibility dominates the professional sector, making the presence of a resource within one more and more unstable business reality, especially if large.
So how to get theemployee engagement?

1. Know yourself

Knowing oneself is not a philosophical statement borrowed from the classical world; is instead the first real answer to have a 'successful company. Whether you are an executive, a boss or a cog in a structure, it is important to understand what are the reasons that lead us to give our best.
This step becomes decisive if you want to exercise a leadership role, learning how to motivate your team.

2. Create a vision

The secret to create employee engagement, to make them love their work and the reality in which they operate, is to offer them inspiration, encouraging the passion for what you are doing. That is, we must ensure that a sort of alignment is created between intentions and efforts.

3. Bring out the best in others

Motivating others, channeling the energies of a team, knowing how to seize the potential of each and giving these potentials space, opportunities to express themselves: this is the secret for true leadership that manifests itself by transmitting the responsibility for one's success to one's team.
This is what is also called collaborative leadership, that is, based on some specific concepts:

  • sharing ideas
  • open communication
  • more direct relationships with collaborators and employees
  • shared strategies

These are the fundamental rules for obtaining an important loyalty of the best talents, indispensable and precious resources for a successful company.

4. Cultivate talent

Before cultivating them, the true leader must be able to recognize talents, often hidden in personalities who do not even know they have one or have the specific one a company is looking for.
It is then up to the leader to act as a leader talent scout before and as a coach after, trying to cultivate the specific potential of its employees, putting them in the conditions to be able to express these potentials and to put them at the service of the organization.
