Roberta Lannunziata is a former student of Accademia del Lavoro and turned her passion for the world of aviation into a concrete and fulfilling career. Having graduated as a tour operator from a professional institute specialising in tourism, Roberta had long felt the need for a change. And as often happens to those with enthusiasm and tenacity to spare, dreams come true sooner or later and give great satisfaction.
“I no longer felt fulfilled at work,” he said.” tells. “I wanted to do something that was really a passion, and aviation has always fascinated me. So, I started looking for a way to approach this world.”
The turning point came with the Course for airport operator with Accademia del Lavoro, a step that turned out to be decisive. During the course, Roberta acquired fundamental skills to working in an airport environmentfrom the use of IT systems to airport regulations and passenger handling techniques. “It was an intense and formative course that gave me the tools I needed to get started”.”.
Today, Roberta works as a check-in agent at Milan Linate airport, a position gained a few months after finishing the course in July. This is the first point of contact for passengers: the person in charge of greeting travellers, checking documents, registering luggage and assigning seats, ensuring a smooth and safety-compliant experience.
“I love my job because it is dynamic and challenging,” enthusiastically explains. “Every day is different: I meet people with unique stories and travel motivations. It is a constantly moving environment that never ceases to surprise me.”
For the future, Roberta dreams of growing professionally and accumulate as much epossible experience in the airport sector. “My goal is to stay in this field as long as possible, because I finally feel that I am in the right place.”
