It is a necessity and now an imperative in every sector, that of impact the environment as little as possible. And the world of air transport no less: reduction of emissions, more sustainable solutions and less polluting, liquid hydrogen aircraft are some of the innovations that have taken center stage in recent months.
In Italy, the Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility Enrico Giovannini illustrated the investments aimed at interventions in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda and the European Green Deal.

This is about 300 billion for railway, road, logistics and port, airport, water infrastructure, for sustainable urban and extra-urban mobility, for sustainable and quality public construction.
The new infrastructures will have less impact onecosystem and in line with the principles of ecological transition and will see the involvement of local communities in decisions, the increase in the resilience of existing infrastructures, also thanks to the use of digital technologies.
Investments concern roads and highways (83.5 billion), railways and urban nodes (147.4 billion), ports (10.1 billion), airports (3.2 billion), rapid mass transport in metropolitan cities (32, 6 billion) and cycle paths (2.6 billion).

Investments and infrastructures: the Malpensa Cargo Center

The most significant of these interventions concerns theMalpensa airport, which will see a significant development of the cargo center, with a "project that would bring the capacity of the cargo city area to close to 1 million tons, almost double compared to the current busy one, but equal to 50% of the traffic handled by Paris Charles de Gaulle and Frankfurt.

Ferrari Group: towards sustainable transport

Meanwhile Ferrari Group, which has always been committed to a process of company growth with a view to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of the services offered globally, participates in the Cargo SAF program of Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, which allows freight forwarders and shippers to reduce their CO2 emissions by encouraging them to play an active role in the future of sustainable aviation.
Air France and KLM are investing in the supply and use of sustainable aviation fuel. This will support the creation of a sustainable fuel industry capable of making the increasingly eco-responsible air transport.
