Interview with Antonio Natoli, a student of the airport stopover course

Intervista ad un allievo del corso di addetto di scalo aeroportuale

Antonio is 21 years old, he is Sicilian, he has a diploma in information systems and a passion for travel. His dream is to work in an international environment, dynamic, frequented by interesting and cosmopolitan people.
On Facebook he sees the Accademia del Lavoro advertisement and follows the link to the site, where he discovers a course that seems to be right for him: airport stopover officer. Fill out the form to request more information and within a few hours he is contacted by a courteous and competent person who answers all his questions, highlighting one thing he did not understand: the course will take place in Fiumicino, within the Alitalia academy. The decision is made.

We hear Antonio on the phone a week after the end of the course, to find out his impressions on the training course, his opinion on the teachers and his future programs.

Editorial board: Good morning Antonio, we would like to know your opinion on the course you have just followed. Did you get along well with the teachers, did the training live up to your expectations?

Antonio Natoli: Yes, all right, I had a great time. Entering the Alitalia Academy every morning was always an emotion, we already seemed to be part of that world. The teachers were all very good, even the most complicated things became simple. You didn't have time to think of a question that the teacher was explaining to you downstairs. All perfect.

R.: How is your inclusion in the world of work going?

AN: Look, I already have an appointment for three interviews with Ryan Air at the airports of Catania, Palermo and Rome. Then later I will also go to Milan. I also had an interview at Oro al Serio but I couldn't cope with the times.

R.: Optimal! You will see that some good opportunities will certainly arise from these talks. For anything you don't mind contacting your school coordinator. If we have news of searches for airport personnel, you and the other students of the course will be informed immediately.

AN: Thank you, I am confident, I feel very prepared and the course is a good business card.

R.. Good luck then! And keep us informed, please.

AN: Thank you… ah no I mean Crepi!
