Le 10 compagnie aeree più sicure al mondo accademia del lavoro

The plane, as we know, is the safest means of transport in the world and, also, among the most used given the ease and speed (compared to other means) with which it allows you to be from one part of the world to another. According to the data ENAC, only in Italy in 2016 they passed through Italian airports 164.368.109 passengers with an increase of 4.8% compared to the previous year.
The Australian site every year AirlineRatings.com (see here), expert in air traffic investigations, draws up the ranking of safest airlines in the world. The criteria used for the evaluation are divided into 7 points, each of which allows you to assign a rating from one to seven stars, determining the final score for each company. The ranking was drawn up after a careful analysis of over 400 airlines.

The seven evaluation criteria

1. IOSA certification

It is an evaluation method used internationally regarding management and control systems. This certification is not mandatory for companies but it is up to them to decide whether to obtain it. It is re-evaluated every two years and is valid for the purposes of this ranking 2 stars.

2. Black list

This particular list evaluates the safety concerns and poor maintenance of aircraft. The companies that are part of this list cannot fly in the European space. For the purposes of our ranking, the absence from this list applies 1 star.

3. Risk of accidents in the previous 10 years

If the airline has not suffered any accidents in the 10 years preceding the evaluation, it is awarded 1 star.

4. FAA approval

The type approval certificate is issued to the aviation authority of a country. There Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the body responsible for issuing this certificate in the United States, and it refers to the airworthiness requirements that an aeronautical product must meet in order to fly in American airspace. For the ranking, this parameter applies 1 star.

5. ICAO parameters

These rules for air safety, efficiency and regularity are drawn up by the International Civil Aviation Organization. Divided into eight parameters, they include the legislation and organization of an airline, licensing, etc. For the purposes of our ranking, it holds true 2 stars provided, however, that at least 5 parameters are met.

6. Take-off denied

If an airline is banned from taking off for a total of 5 years due to safety or bureaucratic reasons, it loses 1 star in this ranking.

7. Russian manufacture

Airlines that use exclusively Russian-built vehicles are awarded 1 star additional.

Once the evaluation parameters of the airlines have been identified, let's focus on the ranking.
