operatore massaggio olistico

All people interested in attending a course to become a holistic massage operator will find some recent research on the Wellness sector in Italy very useful. The unanimous opinion of research institutes is that this sector is experiencing a moment of decisive growth, supported by new consumer habits and from an offer of quality and quantity throughout the national territory.

The turnover produced in Italy since Wellness sector is over 10 billion euros, distributed across various sectors. Beauty salons account for the largest share of the industry, with around 70% of total businesses, or 21,000. Followed by hotels and agritourisms (4,200), hydrothermal centers and establishments for physical well-being (2,500). The fitness centers are instead 12,000 scattered throughout the national territory (with prevalence in the North and especially in Lombardy) of which, however, half offer facilities that could be defined as amateur. There are 28,000 employees in this sector.  In Europe we are at the top of the ranking by number of gyms, while we are only in fourth position in terms of turnover, after the UK, Spain and Germany.

A research carried out by Vivilitalia on the specific sector of the Spa, on the other hand, it highlights a turnover that goes beyond that 2 billion euros per year and which contemplates a basin of about 5,000 4 and 5-star hotels, with an internal offer of almost 2,000 Spas, to which we must add the approximately 1,000 Spas organized according to the daily model.

As for spas, on the other hand, among the most interesting work destinations for holistic massage operators, the regions with the highest number of spas are in order: Campania(114) Veneto (110) Emilia Romagna (24) Tuscany (22) Lazio (18) and Lombardy (16).
Our country, because of his particular geological structure, is confirmed as one of the world temples in spa tourism. The most popular destinations, both for domestic and foreign tourism, remain the classic ones: Ischia, Salsomaggiore, Chianciano, Montecatini, Fiuggi And Abano. Destinations that are often included in packages that also include visits to major cities of art, in an art-well-being combination that is undoubtedly the strong point of the Italian tourist offer.
