A airport terminal to cross in 3 minutes, at best: it was designed by One Works and inaugurated for theMalpensa airport, designed for the business aviation and managed by SEA Prime - company that deals with the infrastructures of General and Business Aviation at Linate and Malpensa.
Is called Milan Prime and was designed in a space entirely dedicated to business aviation, that is aviation sector for business purposes, namely:
- the world of aerial work
- the transport of organs and patients
- state transport
- transport with private jets and helicopters
The One Works terminal it has an area of 1,400 square meters with five lounges and a meeting room, and is located on a 50,000 square meter yard that serves two airstrips, a VIP car park and a 5,000 square meter hangar.
The space was designed by expanding a pre-existing body with spaces oriented towards the green. All for a better experience of the business user who arrives in Milan and who often also participates in the various design and fashion weeks. No commercial services in the terminal, where there are only bathrooms, lounges and a meeting room.
The key word for this new airport project dedicated to the business target it is “speed”: in fact, it is calculated that from the moment customers get off the plane to the moment they sit on board, no more than 3 minutes should elapse.
Other important features, then, are privacy and confidentiality, guaranteed thanks to the presence of a hangar for the shelter and maintenance of the jets.
There new frontier of luxury aviation it passes through small spaces, designed to be crossed quickly and dedicated to that small slice of the population that can afford it. But we are already thinking of democratizing this service with "last minute" routes sold by the companies.
