Precisely it was in 1929 that the “Campo d'Aviazione di Fortuna” airport was born, 75 hectares of extension and a runway with grassy ground.
The Cuneo Airport Management Company (now GEAC SpA) was then established in October 1962. Since 1986 the airport has been authorized by the Ministry for national commercial traffic and since 1990 for international traffic.
Five destinations directly connected to the airport (Palermo, Cagliari, Bari, Rome, Casablanca), a series of services, three airlines (Ryanair, Airarabia and Albastar), Cuneo Airport represents a consolidated and dynamic reality in the sector.
