Luisa La Stella is 25 years old, originally from Bari, a city she loves deeply, as do all Bari residents.
A graduate in tourism accounting, she attended with Accademia del Lavoro the course for airport operator. And from there his life has, little by little, literally changed.

"I was tired of the usual odd jobs that left me with no professional satisfaction and no opportunity for growth. Then I had always had a dream: to work in an airport. So I started googling how I could make this dream come true. The world of the airport has always fascinated me... I came across the Accademia del Lavoro website, filled in the form on the page of the course for airport employees, and was contacted the next day.
This is how Luisa's story begins, a determination and enthusiasm to spare, a desire to get involved and build her own future starting from the training.
“It was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life,” she tells us. 'It opened up a world for me and above all helped me so much to believe in myself and in my potential. I learnt a lot during this training period and certainly, the most important lesson was to never stop wanting to grow, to always set yourself goals and work hard to achieve them. This course has taught me that being prepared is very important.
Special thanks go to the teachers: “The lecturers were fantastic, really! In addition to being impeccable and well-prepared trainers, they are people who work in the airport industry and therefore everything they teach and advise us comes from first-hand experience and this was very important for me.
And it is thanks to them and the training she received that today Luisa can say she made it: “I was contacted by Aviahttps://www.aviapartner.aero/partners, a handler company operating at Fiumicino airport and soon I will start as a sole airport operator, the first step of a great journey... My dream in the drawer is to be able to grow more and more and maybe become a great professional”.
What does this achievement represent for you? - We ask.
"For me it is a victory to have achieved this goal. Until three months ago it was a dream to become part of Fiumicino Airport, one of the most important airports in Italy. Achieving this goal makes me proud... Of course, nothing comes by chance: a lot also depends on how much one believes in what one does and insists on achieving one's goals. This first goal made me realise how important training is for working in this sector, because the airport is a place where everything has to work perfectly and you must not underestimate anything because a mistake can be fatal and only with the right training can you understand these things”.
He concludes: “In addition to training, you also have to put in your own effort, you must not give up and you must always be gritty and tenacious. I believe I am a person who likes to work in a team, creating good harmony and collaboration between everyone. I also like to learn and this was, in my opinion, what allowed me to be chosen and appreciated. In short, if you want to work in an airport, you have to study, study and study! Tenacity, then, counts a lot: never stop, never rest, you must always set yourself new goals and be “always on the ball”.
Luisa Lastella today achieved her first goal: working in an airport. Something she really enjoys, especially because, as she points out “it is a stimulating and super professional world, it allows you to be a team player and above all it allows you to grow and make a career”.
