The Logistics Manager
The Logistics Manager is the professional figure specialized in coordinating the procurement and physical handling of goods within companies operating in the large-scale distribution sector. In particular, it is responsible for carrying out a series of tasks in accordance with the type of activity that the company carries out and, consequently, with the corporate strategies implemented, without ignoring the so-called sustainable logistics. It organizes the sorting and storage of goods in the best possible way, deals with the planning of purchases and deliveries, the management of stocks in the warehouse and coordinates the activity of the warehouse workers. Accademia del Lavoro organizes courses for Logistics Manager, a professional figure of great use for companies and increasingly in demand. The training course for Logistics Manager deals with the transfer of organizational, managerial and linguistic skills, necessary to carry out a fundamental function for corporate competitiveness, both industrial and commercial.
The main objective of the course is to train a figure with not only the ability to manage the handling of goods, from procurement to storage and distribution with relative transport, but also the ability to coordinate and mental flexibility in the exercise of decision-making power.

The logistics manager, despite having to interface with professional figures such as purchasing managers, sales managers, stock management personnel, is endowed with great autonomy in the exercise of his profession, thus being able to operate also as an external consultant or supply chain manager . The logistics manager is employed in all companies that deal with both trade and the mobilization of incoming and outgoing goods.
Furthermore, his skills are increasingly requested by companies and couriers that carry out the transport of machinery, plants and heavy materials.
To whom the course is addressed
The course for Logistics Manager of Accademia del Lavoro foresees a maximum of 18 participants per edition and is aimed at all those interested in this profession, acquiring the theoretical-practical notions essential to carry out the activities connected and inherent to the role.
Duration and location of the course
The course includes a preparatory phase of home study, with teaching material provided by the Accademia del Lavoro;
Gofluent English language course lasting 3 months “all you can learn” formula. If you already have at least a self-certified level B2 of English, you can choose another of the following languages: French, Spanish, German, Chinese (Mandarin), Portuguese (Brazilian), Dutch, Russian and Italian;
48 hours of theoretical and practical frontal lessons lasting 8 hours a day, from Monday to Saturday;
Project Work;
200-hour internship in the region of residence.
There will also be exercises on logistics planning and budgeting techniques.
